The session will consider the difference between the person and systems approaches to patient safety, how to identify which one is being used in the workplace, the benefits of the systems approach to patients and pharmacists (for example in its effects on the working environment) and how we can develop the systems approach within the profession in the future.

Siddiqur will be talking about pharmacists working in general practice within a multidisciplinary setting and how they all work together to improve patient safety and health outcomes as well as reducing GPs workload in an ever demanding NHS Primary Care setting.

Nahim Khan is a pharmacist who works in three sectors. Nahim is a Pharmacist Support Charity Ambassador and will be talking about the charity, the services it provides and who is eligible. Nahim is also an Ambassador for the Royal Pharmaceutical Society and he will be talking about how the Society can help you be the best you can be.
