Paul Summerfield was enrolled onto the pharmacists register in 1997 and have predominately worked in community pharmacy as a locum although he has held numerous roles since 1997 including a GP Practice Pharmacist, Superintendant Pharmacist and academic tutor. He was called to the Bar of England and Wales at Lincolns Inn in 2007. Although he does not have a practicing certificate, he set up Pharmaceutical Defence in 2012 to give advice and represent pharmacists and other healthcare professionals in front of their regulators. He has appeared in front of various committees over the last decade as a representative and regularly volunteer my time to Pharmacist Support. Finally, he is a visiting expert at the University of Reading where he helps to deliver the law and ethics element of the independent prescribing course.
Seja is a Prescribing support pharmacist working for Cheshire and Merseyside ICB for over 2 years. She is involved in the STOMP/STAMP agenda, Antipsychotics shared care, Pbr excluded drugs implementation across ICB, supporting and implementing prescribing scheme in General Practices and savings across Cheshire. Seja has previously worked as a pharmacist in the medicine optimisation in care homes team, community pharmacy sector, COVID vaccination centres, 111 NHS non-emergency, mental health inpatient and mental health outpatient sector.
Siddiqur is a general practice-based pharmacist prescriber based in Kent having worked in the GP sector for over eight years and has previously worked in the community pharmacy sector for a decade. Siddiqur runs regular Cardio & Renal Metabolic condition clinics at the practice and is also a PDA Union Rep for Primary Care in the South East region as well as a co-director for The Pharmacist Cooperative.
